friendlyway Wins Start-up Competition.

Munich, May 24, 2000. The Munich-based friendlyway AG won this year's Start-up Competition on all levels of evaluation. This Competition for New Business Starters put on by the Sparkassen, McKinsey and the magazine Stern is the oldest and best known competition for new business starters in Germany. friendlyway is the first company in the world to market friendliness and it took first place in the Bavarian State Competition and the second place in the nation-wide competition in Germany. friendlyway was able to come up against approximately 1,200 competitors.

The award for friendlyway is linked to prize money totalling 140,000 German Marks and one year of free consultation from the consultancy firm McKinsey & Company. Furthermore, friendlyway's founders Klaus Trox and Andreas Stütz were awarded the prize of New Business Founders of the Year for 2000.

"We especially have our highly motivated employees to thank for our previous and present success. Therefore, we will be using the money for unusual campaigns for our team and their families," as Andreas Stütz explained.
