NetInvestor crowns friendlyway AG the leader in Internet Business and ranks them among the top 25 most innovative companies

Munich (ots) - friendlyway AG, based in Munich, is named among the 25 most successful and innovative Internet businesses in Germany. This was the finding of a survey conducted by the trade journal Netinvestor. friendlyway, which provides Internet-based consultancy systems was elected one of the 25 top businesses, along with companies such as Infineon, Intershop and Brokat.

Netinvestor evaluated companies based upon criterion such as technological innovation, market leadership or a pioneering role within the segment, as well as internationality. "We are very proud to be named among the best Internet companies in Germany", said Andreas Stütz and Klaus Trox, founders of friendlyway. "This award is confirmation of the fact that our idea of combining e-commerce with stationary trade is guiding the way." As early as last year, friendlyway was awarded a prize in the renowned start-up competition run by McKinsey, the savings banks and the magazine Stern.

This year, friendlyway achieved turnover revenues of 8.5 million DM. The total turnover revenue is anticipated to increase to 35 million DM for fiscal year 2001.
