friendlyway successfully finalizes an investment round

Munich, 09.07.2002 - friendlyway managed to successfully finalize a capital increase of more than three million Euros. In addition to existing investors, the Versicherungskammer Bayern (Bavarian Insurance Group), a business venture of the Sparkassen Finanzgruppe (Savings Bank Financial Group), agreed to contribute in this investment round.

The investment of the Versicherungskammer Bayern is, especially from a strategical viewpoint, important for friendlyway. One of the company’s focal points is providing solutions for communicating with savings banks’ customers. As early as the CeBIT, the cooperation between the Deutscher Sparkassenverlag (German Savings Bank Publishing House) and the friendlyway AG was made public.

‘We understand the continuing commitment of the existing investors to be an acknowledgement of our work during a difficult time. However, it constitutes a responsibility to continue pressing ahead with the successful expansion of the company friendlyway,’ says Klaus Trox, chairman of the board for the friendlyway AG.
